The food is excellent, and the menu changes regularly. The pool is excellent too. It’s a very good hotel with friendly staff who’ve been there a long time. Most guests are regulars, mainly older German and Italian people.

The thermal mud treatments are a big part of this area, and this hotel and many nearby specialize in them. Thermal water is right below the ground, which is why the area is known for spas. The hotel deal including breakfast, lunch and dinner is good value. I’ve only just arrived, so I’ll take pictures and give a fuller review later. It’s a good place to get these treatments. The town itself has little nightlife, and some shops have closed for lack of business. The WiFi didn’t work in my room, which was as far as possible from reception. Abano is nicer and has more of a crowd, though it’s a small city or large town without much of a view. So it’s your choice: the quiet foothills of the Euganean hills or livelier Abano.
