We make a point of coming here every time we visit Italy. The staff are wonderful, everything is very clean, and the spa’s health benefits leave your body feeling grateful. I love it, a place to cleanse and revive your inner soul.

We loved our stay at Hotel Neroniane and highly recommend it. The hotel is spacious, with beautiful gardens, excellent spa facilities, wonderful meals and outstanding staff. There are several big lounges off the main reception, with couches and armchairs for reading or having cocktails with friends. Outside, there’s plenty of seating under the portico and around the pools. The dining room looks out over gardens on two sides. Lunch and dinner come with a great buffet alongside the menu. Breakfast was a little disorganized when it came to seating, but the buffet had a good range of sweet and savory food, and the cook can make pancakes, eggs and more. The wellness area, pools and spa are top-notch. Staff at the pool can provide the swim cap you need. The spa bag includes a bathrobe, slippers and a large towel, so bring your own flip-flops. Our second-floor suite was very comfortable, with a king-size bed, a seating area with a two-person couch and two chairs, a large dressing room with plenty of closet space, and a large bathroom. It hadn’t been updated recently, though, and the bathroom could use a refresh. We rode the hotel’s city bikes around the fairly flat area, which has plenty of paved countryside bike paths. There are also two e-bikes to rent for Euro 20/day, a good way to explore the Euganei Hills. We took the train to and from Montegrotto after selling our cars a year ago, and it was an easy five-minute walk from there to Hotel Neroniane.

We felt like VIPs from the moment we got to Hotel Neroniane. The friendly staff quickly showed us to our suite and its beautiful terrace. Check-in was fast, everything ran smoothly, and the service went beyond what we expected. The meals were a real treat, from the morning croissants to five-course lunches and dinners. My husband is allergic to olive oil, and the chef and restaurant staff accommodated him at every meal without fail. Our favorite part was the luxurious thermal spa pool looking over a peaceful garden. After a day exploring Venice, Padua, or nearby towns and villages, it was lovely to soak in the hot, bubbly water. The hotel’s convenient location in Italy’s beautiful Venetian region, attentive service and many wellness amenities make it easy to recommend. Viva Italia! Bravo Hotel Neroniane!

We had a pleasant stay after my parents invited us. We knew most of the guests were over 70, which was fine, and the service staff were very nice and happy to help. But the hotel seems to have little idea how to attract younger guests, and customer care around guests’ needs was almost nonexistent. When we arrived at Marco Polo Airport in Venice, public services were on strike. The hotel could have warned us by email that public transport would be limited, or offered a shuttle for a fair price. It’s the small things that matter. We also told staff the room was very hot and the air conditioning was broken, but they said nothing could be done. I could list more examples, but this gives you an idea. The hotel owners don’t seem to have a clear view of who they want to attract in future. Guests who enjoy keyboard music in the evening may not be around in a few years.

We had a very enjoyable short family break here. The recently renovated wellness and spa areas deserve praise, as does the family who own the property. The mature, well-kept gardens are a lovely place to enjoy the afternoon sun and dip into the heated thermal pools. The indoor pool and facilities have also been carefully renovated, with several places to relax and a bar for snacks and drinks. The spa was wonderful, and all the pool pumps and jets worked. We had full board. Breakfast was a delicious served buffet of Italian treats, while lunch and dinner were served in the dining room. Both meals included lovely antipasto and dessert buffets. Everything was presented with care, well seasoned and portioned just right. It’s traditional Italian food with a wellness hotel feel, including soups and consommé ‘s. Our suite on the newly renovated fourth floor was very spacious, well laid out, practical, extremely clean and nicely designed. We enjoyed its terrace in the evening, looking over the hotel gardens entrance. The room was a little warm for us, though probably just right for Italian guests. Staff were professional, courteous with our children and very accommodating. The head waiter took especially good care of us. The hotel also has mediocre Wi-Fi, sheltered parking, a small conference centre, an e-car charging station, and beautiful historic public rooms that are hard to find in Italian hotels these days. We highly recommend it.
