The location made it easy to take day trips around Umbria, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. We stayed for six nights, and the room was spacious, clean, and modern. Mrs. Lavinia, the reception manager, handled every request professionally and with a big smile. Everyone on staff was friendlier than we expected. A special experience for us, definitely 5 out of 5 and highly recommended.

After such a long travel day, arriving at The Monteleone felt like the right choice. Paola greeted us warmly and took us to our lovely suite, which was spacious, peaceful, and modern, with thoughtful design details that nod to the original building. There isn't a restaurant yet, but the staff were glad to suggest places and make reservations. Breakfast comes with the stay, with plenty of options, including pastries, and the coffee was delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sun to start the day. You can also buy wine there, which was lovely to take out and enjoy while appreciating the grounds and the surrounding area. The Monteleone is near Pienza, Lake Trasimeno, and Cortona. It's a beautiful property in a beautiful setting, and both the staff and owners were so kind. We can't wait to return!

We slept incredibly well, thanks to the very comfortable beds. The hotel is modern, beautifully cared for, and has a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was great, and the team were warm and kind, always going out of their way for guests. We had a wonderful stay at The Monteleone, highly recommend it, and will definitely come back. Thanks for such a lovely experience!
