The kids’ play area, barbecue spot, soccer and volleyball courts, and beautiful pool on the lawn made this a great place to unwind. The property sits in lovely green surroundings, and we came here with my wife and two children to celebrate my 50th birthday and get away from everything. My five-year-old fell in love with it and didn’t want to leave. Mrs. Elisabetta and Mr. Riccardo are wonderful people. I’ve never met two more beautiful people in my life. There’s also a little ranch a short walk away, with horseback riding, pony rides for little ones, and carriage rides. We’re so glad we found this charming place and its lovely hosts. We’ll definitely return, and it’ll be a regular stop for us during their open season. Perfect if you’re after peace and relaxation. I recommend it 100 percent. TOP, truly.

We’ve been returning to this country house for years for the Bagnoli Irpino festival in early autumn. It’s in a lovely, well-kept setting, about 5 minutes from Montella center, 8 minutes from Bagnoli, and 20 minutes from Laceno. The owners are welcoming and attentive, and the cleanliness is excellent. My one reservation is the price. Since breakfast isn’t included, I think the stay could cost less. Still, it’s definitely worth a visit.

The grounds are the best part: the location is beautiful, the outdoor space is lovely, and there are barbecues and tables. But there’s not much entertainment, so be careful if you’re coming with children or teenagers. It may suit older people better, especially with all the restrictions. At the pool, there’s no suntan lotion, water games, or ball games, either in or out of the water. The pool is open by the hour even for people staying there. They say you can stay, but then turn on the sprinklers, splashing you until you leave, even if you’ve paid to swim all day. The apartments were disappointing for cleanliness. There was lots of dust on shelves and under the sofas. There’s also no privacy, since the apartment has no interior doors except for the bathroom.

I showed up at 5pm to visit friends, and the place closed at 6. Even though I explained when I arrived that I wasn’t going to swim, they still charged me €5. I won’t be back. They’ve lost a customer, actually eight of us. It’s a shame, because the place deserves better, but we can do without that kind of treatment.
