2/10
The breakfast was disappointing, and staff weren't helpful when there was a problem. Outside, people were making a racket late into the night, with hooliganism in the streets until 4:00am. It felt unsafe, and the staff never called the police. Inside, the rooms were dated and the air conditioning didn't work. The heating was centralized, so the rooms got boiling hot. The building reminded me of Soviet style housing. But the worst part was the people running the hotel. At check-in, an old man insulted me in what felt like a racist way. The worst hotel stay of my life.

The staff were nice, and the room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. There’s free underground parking a two-minute walk from the hotel.

It’s family-run and friendly, and just a five-minute walk from the station for Florence and Pisa, in Central Square.
