Cowbells drifting in from the fields and the church bells gave the place a lovely village feel. From our little balcony, we could enjoy the rolling farmland over a snack or dinner, and the room itself was spotless, with a big, comfortable bed. We stayed nearly a week and chose this B&B as a base for exploring mountain passes and towns rather than staying by just one peak. Don’t miss the drive on SS242. Esther was warm and helpful despite the language gap. When I showed her what needed to stay cold, she even brought us a small fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the baking smells were hard to resist. The town felt peaceful without being too remote: restaurants, a large grocery store, a laundromat and other shops were only a few minutes away by car. Outdoor activities and scenic drives were easy to reach, and we’d happily stay again.

After a tiring day of hiking, this was just the kind of place we needed. It was clean, well looked after, and felt like home. The family were wonderful, and the service was exceptional. Parking seemed confusing at first, but they came straight out to help us. Breakfast was perfect. I’d choose staying here another 100 times over a name brand hotel. Such a pleasant experience. Graci!!

The church bells nearby get very loud at 7am, though of course that’s nothing the B&B can help. We found a good Chinese restaurant a short walk away. Inside, our room was spotless and the beds were comfortable, and the friendly owner kindly gave us a safe place to keep our bicycles. A lovely B&B.

The property is welcoming and clearly well cared for, and our room and bathroom on the first floor were immaculate. Ester makes tasty cakes each day and accommodates guests' requests; breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back. Thanks for everything!
