La Baita di Pilato

The pool and its view across the mountains were amazing. A lovely place to stay in beautiful surroundings, with a great host.

The Monti Sibillini are fantastic, and the surrounding area is amazingly beautiful. This place feels like a little paradise, and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful.

We spent New Year’s Eve with friends here. The spacious property has shared areas that work well for a large group. We had an attic with a kitchen and bedrooms, and the place was comfortable and clean. Mr. Maurizio is a wonderful person. At the foot of Montemonaco, it’s well placed for outings in the Sibillini Mountains or just a quiet few days in the mountains.

After climbing Mount Vettore, it was lovely to unwind somewhere quiet and surrounded by nature. The rooms were clean and cozy, and some had truly spectacular views. The pool, with its splendid outlook, is a real bonus compared with other places in the area. There are barbecue areas too, good for meals outdoors. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, but what stayed with us most was the owner’s kindness and readiness to help. That attention to guests went far beyond simply treating us as customers. It’s hard to find that kind of helpfulness and warmth these days.
