Agriturismo La Quiet

The only nice thing is that the place itself is pretty. Otherwise, it was a nightmare. A dog barked all night, and hundreds of insects came in under the front door. There was nowhere to eat or get a drink, and the equipment was very old. The shower was pink, the walls were like cardboard, the toilet leaked, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work.

We loved our stay at this quiet farmhouse in the countryside near Montenero di Bisaccia, just a few kilometres from the sea. The owners were welcoming and kind. Our apartment had air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, there was plenty of parking, and we could also use the pool, ping-pong table, and table football. The dogs, Leo the border collie and Bri the very fluffy mixed-breed, were fun to play with. There was also a horse and some chickens. During our week in August, we’d start with a buffet breakfast made with homemade products, served at the tables outside the apartments and rooms. Then we’d head to the beach, and spend the afternoon at the pool. You can swim there all day, and we even went back after dinner and stayed late. On August 15th, the owners’ children and their friends had a barbecue by the pool and kindly shared some really tasty arrosticini with us. We had a great time and highly recommend the experience.

We’ll definitely return to La Quiete Agriturismo. The owners are lovely, warm, and always ready to help, and Teresa makes all the cakes for a delicious breakfast using local products. It’s a magical, peaceful place, great for a getaway without stress. Courtesy and cleanliness are real strengths here.
