Mateo welcomed us warmly and pointed out parking, restaurants, breakfast spots and coffee shops in Montepolitsiano on a map. The home itself is a historic two-story stone house, with a tidy garden and pool out front and vineyards in the distance. Mateo can arrange wine tasting and dinner on the property too, a nice option if you’d rather relax and watch the sunset there. The food is highly recommended. This place is a gem!

We spent a couple of nights here on our road trip around Tuscany and had a great time. The farmhouse is charming and peaceful, with a large pool area, sunbeds and fabulous views. The owner got in touch before check-in to make sure we had the information we needed, then gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The restaurant had nice food, and the grilling was super excellent. We also thought the olive oil they produce was the best we’d tried in Toscana, so it’s well worth buying. We highly recommend this place for a Tuscan holiday.

I can’t say I know much about agriturismo in Godiolo, but I did taste the wines here and had an outstanding experience. Highest recommendation. Their Olivio of oil is worth buying too!
