We especially loved the pool, with its sweeping countryside views, and the chance to relax there with a glass of local wine. Our room at Agriturismo Il Cantastorie was roomy, comfortable, and set up so we could cook and eat in when we wanted a quiet night. The rolling hills and Montepulciano in the distance were stunning, especially at sunset. It made a perfect base for our autumn visit to Tuscany. Susanna and her husband were welcoming and generous, attentive without hovering, and clearly passionate about the region and the place. Montepulciano is just a short taxi ride away, with its restaurants, wine, and local produce. We enjoyed exploring that food and wine scene and then coming back to the peace of the agriturismo. Roberta, who works for Susanna at her wine cellars (Cantina Crociani), knows the area well and had great tips and recommendations. It was worth stopping by to chat and taste wine. Take some of Susanna's own wine home, too. We'd happily stay at Agriturismo Il Cantastorie again on another trip to Tuscany. We can't recommend it highly enough.

Susanna and Massimo made us feel so welcome. One evening they invited us to watch the Euro final with them and put on pizza, cheese, and wine. Such a generous, lovely gesture. Susanna also welcomed us with bottles of delicious wine and offers great wine and free tastings in her own cellar in Montepulciano. The grounds are green, quiet, and very clean, with a wonderful view of Montepulciano. We had an amazing week here and would definitely recommend it.

The owners make you feel at home as soon as you arrive at Il Cantastorie. The apartments are clean, and there's a lovely garden, swimming pool, and nice views. Such a great place to stay in Montepulciano!

We couldn't stay as long as we'd planned, but we still really enjoyed the place. It felt like a fairytale, was very clean, and was well located. The hosts are one of a kind. Thanks, and highly recommended!
