Barbara made us feel welcome right away, and the balcony view over the countryside was stunning. We loved having coffee there at sunrise, with the table and two chairs already set up. The room was pretty and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the extra pillows and blankets in the closet came in handy. We could adjust the heating with a digital control, and there was coffee and water in the room too. The bathroom was modern and nice. We were on a road trip through Tuscany last week, and this was one of our favorite places to stay. It’s a short walk to the town center and its restaurants, with La Schiaccia dell'Opio nearby for sandwiches. Public parking is available on the street below, about a two-minute walk away. My husband and I would definitely recommend it.

We came back this past week after our first stay four years ago, and Sayed and his wife were just as kind and gracious as before. The rooms were beautiful and fully equipped, so it was easy to relax when we weren’t out exploring. We also loved being in the heart of Montepulciano, with the town and its views right around us. Sayed went out of his way to help with anything we needed, from arranging local vineyard tours and dinner reservations to shipping wine home and driving us on the tours. He really knows hospitality and customer service. We highly recommend staying here, and hope we can return for a much longer visit soon. Thank you, Syed! Sayed and Barbara were wonderful hosts, and they’ll help you plan your time in Tuscany. Their restored 600 year old apartments are right in the center of Montepulciano, and the Chic-Tuscan Décor is dreamy. From the architecture and design to the custom hand painted furniture sourced locally, all the details feel carefully thought through. The beds have amazing mattresses and handmade linens, and the modern bathrooms use thoughtful design and high quality materials. We were so happy we stayed here.

Sayed and his wife really go out of their way to make your visit special. Their place is a gem, and we had a truly magical trip to Tuscany thanks to them. If you want to experience Montepulciano as a town, this is the place to stay!
