Guesthouse Park Pines

Giuseppe made us feel so welcome on our family's first trip to Rome. He was happy to answer our questions and arranged Mario to drive us to and from the airport. Mario was the best driver we've ever had! Each morning Giuseppe prepared croissants for breakfast, and the room was cleaned whenever we came back. After being out in such hot weather, it was lovely to sleep in a cool AC room. For the major sights, the house is about a 20-minute taxi ride each way. Giuseppe kindly called a taxi when we were ready. The bus and metro are options, but we found taxis much easier. We just got back and highly recommend staying here at the Park Pines.

We loved staying here and would definitely return if we're in Rome. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and breakfast was good, with complimentary Italian espresso too. Most of all, we appreciated the owner's genuine hospitality and kindness. He even gave us space to store our 2bikes. Highly recommend it.

The room itself was nice, but I didn't sleep at all because the host controls the AC completely and it was extremely hot. You can't eat food in the rooms, and the fridge doesn't even work. In the morning, while we were getting ready, the host tried to open the door. When I asked for a refund, he hurled insults like “poorly educated” lol, then told Booking that I had “caused damages.” Just look at how he responds to anyone who leaves negative feedback. That's no way to run a business.

Getting into central Rome was straightforward by bus or metro. We were really happy with the stay: the room was spotless, and Giuseppe was such a welcoming, hospitable host. Grazie mille!
