Traiano Hotel

The location is superb, less than a 15-minute walk from the Colloseum, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and more. We stayed for two weeks and I wouldn't have chosen anywhere else. The room was quaint, and the bathroom was great, with strong water pressure, plenty of hot water and quality towels. Service was excellent across the board, from reception and the room attendants to the breakfast room staff. Best breakfast ever!

Breakfast was plentiful, with fruit, cakes, pastries, bread, cold meats, cheese, yogurt, cereals, eggs, bacon, German sausage, juice and coffee. It's different from what you'd have at home, but when in Rome. The hotel is right in the middle of history, and the building itself is historic. I even spotted it in the background of a history program. Everything is right on the doorstep, though Rome is noisy. You'll be so tired you'll sleep. The air conditioning wasn't working, though it may have been switched off for the season since it was February. I always bring a small electric fan. The fridge also wasn't working, but staff brought a replacement right away. Everyone was fantastic, the reception and lobby are beautiful, and thanks to Flavia and the whole front desk team.

I came from Saudi Arabia to Rome for the first time and checked out today after seven days at the hotel. The main tourist attractions are very close, and the breakfast was great with plenty of variety. The staff were always smiling and very friendly. Thanks to everyone who works at this lovely hotel. If I come back to Rome, I'll definitely stay here again.

Some rooms feel a little dated, but they're clean and comfortable, and the service makes the hotel a solid base for exploring Rome. Staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is good. Hotel Traiano is right in the heart of the city, with major sights within walking distance.
