The owner, Alessandra, was the highlight for me. She’s such a kind, lovely person and did everything she could to make our stay memorable. She really made us feel like family. The rooms were spotless and refreshed daily, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. There’s also a lovely restaurant almost next door serving authentic Italian food. Beside the Vatican is amazingly well located, just as the name suggests. We’d highly recommend it and would happily stay again. Thank you, Alessandra, for a wonderful visit.

Alessandra welcomed us warmly and gave us invaluable suggestions for exploring Rome. Breakfast was a real treat, with her homemade food making each morning an adventure. The accommodation was clean, quiet, and cozy, a lovely place to relax in the heart of the city. We were completely delighted with our stay at Beside the Vatican. Alessandra made us feel at home and was incredibly responsive. Her English is excellent, and she had great suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The neighborhood felt very safe, with shops and restaurants close by, and the B&B itself was super clean with a wonderful breakfast. It’s near the Vatican and easy to reach the center by bus. If you’re planning a Rome trip and don’t mind staying outside the center, I highly recommend this B&B.

We were about a seven-minute walk from the Vatican, and lots of buses connected us to the historic center. Alexandra was a great host, always available for questions and full of useful advice on attractions, charming restaurants, and getting around. The rooms stayed in excellent condition and were perfectly clean from the start of our stay to the end. Highly recommended!
