The biggest problem for me was the pillows. They were much too hard and low, but using two made them too high and still hard, so I barely slept. The rest of the room was comfortable and a good size, with plenty of places to put things, including tables, chairs, counters, and two large wardrobes. It had two balconies, a well-equipped bathroom with shelves in the shower and lots of little storage spaces, and the bed itself was comfortable. The air conditioning might cost extra, though we weren't charged. WiFi was weak, as you'd expect in a remote area; posting pictures worked, but video calls probably wouldn't. We could stream on my Kindle Fire. The building has been nicely restored as a hotel, and the breakfast spread in the large, beautiful room was impressive. We were there toward the end of April, and I hoped more people would come in summer. The place is up a hill outside Montepulciano, with plenty of parking. Its name is confusing: Booking calls it La Piccolo Siesta b&b, while other listings and the card say Hotel La Siesta, but it's the same place. The owner's sweet elderly mother greeted us, and we met the owner later. Neither speaks English, but my boyfriend is Italian and communicated with them. Even without the language, their warmth was clear. His mother nodded and complimented me. They were just lovely.

The owners were endlessly kind and polite, and I especially want to praise their manners, which feel rare these days. I stayed two nights with my partner for work, and they accommodated everything we needed for it. Our room was extremely spacious, with two terraces and a large shower. We definitely recommend the property.

The grounds have a lovely private garden, and the view was beautiful. We found the quiet location convenient for visiting cultural attractions, and on-site parking made things easy. Our room was spacious and clean during our two-day stay. Mrs. Anita and Mr. Fabrizio were kind, down-to-earth, and very helpful, and made us feel at home. I hope I can visit them again.

We were so glad we came across this B&B. The service was warm and friendly, and breakfast was practically divine. One of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in.

The owners gave us a very warm welcome and useful tips for exploring the area, including nearby restaurants. They're young retirees, and it was easy to get the information we needed. Parking was effortless, with a huge free area right next door; I even noticed a motion-activated security camera. The Google photos are an accurate picture of the place. We booked through Booking.com because the price looked appealing compared with similar places nearby, and it turned out to be good value. It's a small family-run hotel with plenty of room inside and ample parking. Our double room was very spacious and had thoughtful extras like a corkscrew, plus a small fridge, a fairly large flat-screen TV, mirror, wardrobe, chairs, and small desk. There was a terrace with two sides, one facing the mountains, and we loved sitting out there with its table and chairs. The view was superb. The shower room was large, with a separate multi-jet shower cubicle and toilet adjoining the bedroom, giving us privacy. The complimentary air conditioning worked perfectly. For dinner we went to the little pizzeria/restaurant about 50 meters away and ate very well for a reasonable price. We had excellent pizzas and several pasta options, including pici with ragù and gnocchi with pesto genovese, plus salad, panna cotta, and profiteroles. The house wine was good too, served in 0.25, 0.50, or even one-liter pitchers. Some details have a vintage feel, but everything is sturdy, looked after, and clean, so I don't see a problem. I highly recommend the hotel. I also read the other reviews and found the Dutch woman's one-star review completely irrelevant. If she'd really been honest about the reasons she gave, she should have given at least three stars. Treating people unfairly is awful, and I felt that was clearly happening here.
