Sant'Antonio Country Resort

The houses and apartments are cared for incredibly well, with every detail and need thought through. The service is beyond what you could ask for, and the prices are very, very reasonable for what you get. Sant' Antonio is much more than an ordinary country resort. The location and property are hard to put into words. If you haven't been, why not?

Nico and Elena, the owners, took time to show us around Sant’Antonio and share plenty of local tips on food, wineries and sightseeing. They're fabulous hosts and delightful people, and their little pup Yoda is lovely too. The property is stunning, with a beautiful Tuscan backdrop, and it's a peaceful country retreat just minutes from downtown Montepulciano. We had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Grazie!!

Nico was a fantastic host, warm, helpful, and quick to respond. He went out of his way to make sure our 1 year old had what he needed. Ask him about restaurants, day trips, or shopping and you'll get an A+ recommendation. He also arranged a lovely birthday dinner for my father in law in Montepulciano and helped set up a cooking class with Giuseppe, a local chef who taught us to make local cuisine right in our apartment. It was fun, delicious, and an incredible experience. The apartment was spacious, clean, well supplied, and serviced daily, with comfortable beds and hot showers. Sant’Antonio itself is a dream of a Tuscan getaway, peaceful and beautifully kept on a hillside. There are patios, a walking trail, outdoor grills, a pool, olive trees, and the striking architecture of the 800 year old monastery. Cannot recommend it enough!

My wife and I spent four unforgettable weeks at Sant’ Antonio, just outside Montepulciano, and came away feeling changed. The rolling Tuscan hills make for a serene, spacious setting with a peaceful charm that's hard to explain. Mornings started with olive groves, birdsong, and the distant sounds of country life. The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches that helped me feel at home while still far from everyday hustle. I found room here, mentally and physically, to unwind and reset. Reading in the garden, walking through nearby olive groves, or simply taking in the quiet brought a calm that stayed with me after leaving. Nico and Elena, the owners, treated us like family. It's a special place I'll carry in my heart. I highly recommend it if you want a peaceful escape to reconnect with yourself and nature. There are plenty of towns and villages just minutes away, with great food and historic sites.
