We’ve never had worse communication with an owner. We tried to book a Loggia apartment for two nights directly with the property. At first, owner Elisabeta Fanetti replied very quickly, then asked us to pay 50% upfront into her personal bank account. Maybe that was to save on taxes? Their website said the deposit should be 30%, so I asked her to confirm the amount. After that, she disappeared completely. She didn’t reply for more than 11 days, despite four follow-up emails, which was shocking with less than three weeks to go before our stay. We had to find somewhere else at the last minute. Absolutely disgusting attitude!

We had a fantastic stay in a beautiful Tuscan-style apartment with everything we needed, surrounded by lovely scenery and a nice pool. The owners’ shop in the village is well worth a visit, too. The mother and daughter there were so friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely go back!

The wine cellar visit was a lovely part of our stay, and the owners' wines are well worth trying. We booked through Smartbox, and after hearing plenty of negative stories about those bookings, we were pleasantly surprised by how warmly we were welcomed. The estate is surrounded by greenery, with a lovely terrace, outdoor tables, a barbecue and a fireplace. Everything was furnished so well that we wanted to compliment the owner. The pool was closed, which is normal for the season, but we had a great time and would likely come back. A perfect place to stay.
