Residenza Fabroni

We booked this place for the night of 9 August 2025. The room was extremely dark, the fridge didn't work, and there were no working lights in the living area. Worst of all, the strong mould smell made it unbearable to stay, so we had to leave and find somewhere else. The stale, damp, mouldy air can't possibly be healthy for anyone to breathe. Vesna

The bedroom was clean and comfortable, and the living room couches were comfortable too. But the hygiene in the washroom was unacceptable. The place smelled musty and hadn't been aired out. The washroom smelled bad, the shower was blocked, and a stained used towel from a previous stay had been left there. We contacted the property representative, who sent someone to clean it and unblock the shower twice, but neither attempt worked. We had NO shower for all 3 days, with our 6 month old baby. There was grime in the kitchen sink as well.

It took some effort to find the place, so look for a small sign on the outside wall. There’s no lift, and we carried our bags up two floors. Once there, it was a pleasant, quirky surprise: a very old building without modern facilities, but a unique stay with a family house feel and great views. The wine sold at reception was very nice, and there are wine glasses in the communal kitchen. The parking worked well, so do use it. The two minor downsides were that they didn't contact us after we left shirts in the wardrobe, and a neighbour played noisy music one night. No big deal.
