The rooms aren’t especially large, but they were clean, cozy, and had air conditioning, which matters to me in summer. The atmosphere was very friendly, thanks to host Enrico, who shared lots of suggestions for places to visit and even discounts at a couple of nearby spots. The guesthouse is in the lovely coastal town of Monterosso al Mare, fairly close to both the station and the sea. I’d definitely recommend it.

The bed was the one drawback for us. It felt very hard and wasn’t especially comfortable, though we’re used to a softer mattress. Apart from that, we had a very good stay and would recommend it. The room was nice and clean, and the owners were extremely friendly and spoke many languages. We were welcomed on time and got our room without a wait. They also gave us plenty of ideas for dinner and places to find good wine. You can reserve a parking spot, which we wish we’d known earlier. The rooms are close to the station and just a few metres from the beach.

There was supposed to be a washing machine, but we had to wait 30 minutes for someone from management to come and let us in.

The room and bathroom were spotless, and the room itself was beautiful. Enrico, who I assume is the owner, was very kind and gave us a detailed rundown of things to do nearby. The location was ideal, close to Monterosso’s main attractions but away from the tourist bustle. We weren’t disturbed by noise at night. Highly recommend it.
