The rooms were clean, and the AC worked well, which we really appreciated during the hottest days of summer. Federica had everything running smoothly and made communication easy since she speaks and writes English. The patio was the highlight. Just be prepared for the stairs. I'd come back, 10/10.

Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight: Federica served a delicious spread with plenty of variety, and it was a welcome break from grabbing food on the go. The room also looked out over Monterosso, and the terrace view was lovely. Everything was clean and just as described, in a cute, intimate place with a local feel. The location, just off the main street in Monterosso old town, was easy to find. My husband and I had a 5/5 stay and would happily return.

I was so reluctant to leave after this stay. The owners I met were incredibly sweet, and breakfast on the terrace was delicious, with a beautiful view. My room was perfect, too. The town, beach, and train station are all just a short walk away. Grazie mille, I'll always remember it! 💞💞

The homemade breakfast was served each day on the terrace, and the service was great. Il Timon Lerta is right in the heart of Monterosso, with restaurants within walking distance. It took about 7-8 minutes to walk to the train and even less to reach the beach. Like much of Cinque Terre, homes here sit up on the hills, so expect lots of stairs. They helped keep me in shape after all that pasta and gelato! I had an amazing time and would absolutely stay again.
