La Poesia

We stayed in the old part of Monterosso in 2016 and arrived well before check-in on a warm day. The owner welcomed us with a lovely platter of food and drinks while our room was being prepared. We waited in the courtyard, chatting with our host in the pretty garden. The whole visit felt like having a home abroad: clean, comfortable, and relaxed, with a wonderful host. 🙏🏻

Nicoletta and Christina showed us such loving care and attention that this became one of our best travel experiences. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast delicious, and the location just right. Everything exceeded what we expected, and leaving was hard. Thank you for everything, Nicoletta. I hope to see you again soon!

Nicoletta, the owner, goes out of her way to make the stay feel personal and just right. The rooms are very clean, and breakfast on the lovely terrace was the best. For me, La Poesia is the best place to stay in Monterosso, and Monterosso is the best of Cinque Terre. I'll definitely be back!

The omelettes here were amazing, with incredibly fluffy eggs, and the atmosphere made it feel like staying with an old friend. We arrived without calling ahead to confirm our time, since we hadn't realized how small the hotel was, but the welcome went far beyond what we expected. There was champagne and a cappuccino setup on the balcony so we could relax before doing the paperwork. We've only visited Cinque Terre once, but I can't imagine choosing another B&B. I can't recommend this place enough.
