Pietre di Mare

We planned two nights and didn’t want to go, then luckily found an opening to add another night. It’s a small family run place with wonderful service, and a great base for exploring a region with endless things to do. The train station is fairly close, restaurants are very close, and the walk around here is flat, so getting around with luggage was easy. Cleanliness matters a lot to me, and this place was perfect.

Moreno and his wife were such friendly hosts. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy with all the essentials stocked. A perfect spot to call home for a little while in the Cinque Terre.

The owners gave us a bottle of wine as a honeymoon gift after checkout, which was such a lovely surprise. The room also had a complimentary minibar. It was clean, in a good location, and they have a nice family restaurant downstairs that you should try. Everything was perfect! 👌

The family who runs this place are so kind and warm, and being around them made our time in Chinque Terre feel special. Moreno always lifted our spirits, and we kept bumping into him and his family around town. It felt like they were neighbors we’d known for ages. They also run the restaurant downstairs, which is the area’s top rated one, deservedly so. The place itself is simple but perfect, right in the old town and next to the best restaurants, with the beach only a three minute walk away. This is the best place I’ve stayed in Monterosso. It’s the only one I’ve tried here, but I have no reason to look elsewhere. I’d give it ten stars if I could, though I only leave five. Thanks, Moreno and Sabrina, for such a wonderful stay! 🥰
