Marie will arrange rides with 30 minutes’ notice, which made it easy to get to and from the town center. Otherwise, it’s about a 10-minute taxi or shuttle ride, or a steep, strenuous hike. The place sits high on the hill above Monterosso Al Mare, peaceful and beautiful, with ocean views, birdsong, flowers, fruit trees, and private terraces. Our suite was clean and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed. Marie’s homemade breakfasts were better than any gourmet bakery in town. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The Villa is set away from Monterosso, so you’ll need to take the bus, which is included in the Cinque Terre hike card, or arrange a ride to and from town. Marie can help with travel. We loved the quiet and privacy, along with the fantastic views. The property is picturesque and romantic, and Marie was super friendly and made the best breakfast every morning. I can’t recommend it enough.

Marie and her husband were so friendly and used their knowledge of the area to help us plan our stay. The accommodation is in a vineyard, so getting back up from Monterosso takes some effort, but Marie arranged a shuttle to pick us up whenever we needed one. Each morning, she brought breakfast to our private terrace: fresh fruit, warm croissants, and other homemade baked goods, all with an incredible view. We had a lovely stay with Marie and her family. It was perfect in every way we could think of, and we’ve recommended it to all our friends and family. Thank you so much!

The hosts made us feel like family, and the kids had fun on the playground. We enjoyed homemade dinner and breakfast right there. The room was brand new and so cozy. Ten stars, one of our best experiences in Italy!

Surrounded by beautiful nature, Villa Pietrafiore has an amazing sea view. The rooms are very clean and breakfast was delicious. It’s a wonderful base for discovering Cinque Terre and Liguria, and even Tuscany isn’t far. Grazie, and until next time.
