Mary was so kind that my family and I felt at home. The place has the everyday things we needed, from soft towels and a hairdryer to an iron and ironing board. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, herbal tea, chamomile, a coffee maker, and a kettle. Having private parking was a big plus, and the air conditioning helped too. The property is around 1.5 km from the train station, so it's well connected.

A relaxing garden full of flowers and plants sets the scene at Mary Holiday Home in Monterotondo, Lazio. The apartment is simply but tastefully furnished, clean, and comfortable, with independent heating and air conditioning. There's private parking as well. Maria is kind and helpful, and the place is only a short trip from Rome and the airports. It works for a quick visit or a longer stay while exploring Rome, Monterotondo, and the surrounding area. Booking ahead is recommended.

We paid a truly excellent price, and we'll stay here whenever we're back in Rome. The apartment is much quieter than the city, with an outdoor area surrounded by greenery where you can spend the evening. Animal lovers may enjoy the enclosure with geese and chickens. Inside, the apartment was spotless, with the smell of detergent still lingering. The kitchen was beautiful and fully equipped, and the dining and TV area shared one large space with a roomy sofa. The bathroom was clean and welcoming, with a big shower, very hot water, shampoo and shower gel, and lots of different soaps. The bright, spacious double bedroom had good-quality sheets. There's also a washing machine and a very powerful hairdryer. On-site parking was a real plus since we didn't have to search for a spot outside.

The one downside we found was the weak Vodafone signal, which wasn't the property's fault. Wi-Fi was available, though it only worked at certain times. Otherwise, this is a charming, tidy little house in a family-friendly, fairly quiet area, and the garden parking is very handy. There are lovely plants and friendly farm animals. In early September, you might be tempted to reach under the pergola for some delicious strawberry grapes, though Mary, the welcoming owner, may offer you a bunch herself, as she did for us. Great value and highly recommended as a vacation rental.

Mrs. Mary was very kind and helpful. The house looked just like the photos, with lots of light, a cozy feel, and everything we needed. It's on a quiet street and has parking. Highly recommended.
