Quality Hotel Green Palace

The hotel's general impression was pleasant, but the restaurant manager's behavior spoiled it. She was very rude and argued with us, which is not appropriate for a hotel of this standard. The reception staff at Hotel Green Palace, on the other hand, were kind and professional. I strongly suggest management replace this staff member or give her proper training in hospitality and guest communication.

This could work for a budget stay, and our room was clean, but the bathroom had mold in some corners. The breakfast was very poor and low quality. In the morning, the receptionist was rude and seemed to have no idea how hospitality works. At night, the hotel's sign isn't lit, so it can take detective work to find the place. For a group, I'd say it was okay, but I can't give it more stars. Four stars is nowhere close.

I'm planning to pick another hotel for my next Rome trip. We booked three beds, but they were all in one room, and one was basically a small bed with no slats and holes, as my photos show. That third bed seemed to be the hotel's four-star surprise downgrade: the AeroSlat(less)™ system, with its “advanced aeration” and instant shape-fitting foam. The window also did nothing to block the nighttime noise from vehicles and animals, or the cold air coming in. It felt like some guests mattered less because the hotel was full, and I was the unlucky one. Staff: 0/10, “It fits an adult” Bed quality: 0/10 Soundproofing: 3/10 Protection from the cold: 3/10 Sleeping comfort: 1/10 If you fancy camping inside four walls, you might find it fun. You'd think this was a joke.

The hotel is a fair distance from Rome, though the comfort and service help make up for that. The rooms were cleaned daily and were nearly spotless. We had enough space for our luggage, comfortable beds, a lovely shower, and plenty of towels. There weren't many power outlets, though. The breakfast was my other disappointment. For a hotel this size, it felt very limited, with no hazelnut spread, proper bread, or toaster.
