Dimora Sant'Angelo sits in Montescaglioso's most charming historic setting. We had a pleasant stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a tastefully renovated, well-kept vacation.

The apartment was spacious and recently renovated with good taste, and the value for money was unbeatable. Even though the square was busy during my September weekend, it stayed very quiet. It's an excellent base for visiting Basilicata, especially Matera, only a few kilometers away. The living area has a kitchen, and the bedroom has its own bathroom and walk-in closet, handy for storing things during a longer stay. The queen-size bed was very comfortable, with both high and low pillows. There was a large thermostatic shower with colored LED ceiling lights. The amphora-shaped sinks look striking, though their size makes them awkward to use. Both the living room and bedroom have LED TVs with Netflix. I was very satisfied and highly recommend it.

The owner was extremely kind and helpful during my stay a few days ago. The lovely apartment was well furnished and had everything needed for a wonderful visit. I highly recommend it if you’re going to Matera or elsewhere in Basilicata.
