We’ve stayed here twice now, most recently for about two weeks, and it was just as good, maybe even better, than before. We were treated really well. The rooms were clean, breakfast was awesome, and the hosts were as friendly as ever. There were fresh cheeses and focaccia from local bakeries, too. We’ll come back again. 100% recommended. 6/17/2023 It's a shame I can't give it six stars. We spent five nights here and can’t say enough good things about the place. Domenico and Antonella were among the most exquisite people we’ve met. They made us feel at home and got us anything we needed, including a ride into town. Breakfast was all local products, from focaccia to fresh fruit and homemade cakes. The modern, very clean rooms had all the amenities we needed and a pretty good view. We often visit Montescaglioso, and from now on this will always be the first place we check for room availability.

I’m from Serbia and traveling through Italy, and I’m staying at this place now. I’m thrilled with the comfort, interior, and hygiene. All praise to the owner, who is friendly, cultured, sociable, and speaks English well. The old town has many restaurants and good food. It’s worth visiting the nearby old city to see its architecture.

Domenico and Antonella made us feel welcome right away. They were patient with all our questions and happy to share information. A friend who has stayed here for years suggested the place, and my wife and I had a wonderful week. There are three comfortable rooms and a shared breakfast room with a kitchen and refrigerator. Our room was nicely equipped, with a roomy private bathroom and a window. Breakfast had plenty of choice, sweet and savory, along with fresh fruit. Montescaglioso's center is only a few minutes away. With our car, it was easy to reach Matera, the coast, and other important places without getting caught in traffic. Thanks again to Domenico and Antonella, they're fantastic people!
