The area was amazing, and the hosts were really friendly. A great place for a laid-back holiday.

We loved staying at that hotel. It was so good, and we want to go back.

There’s a lovely restaurant-pizzeria less than five minutes away, and you can book it through the owners. The nearby village is quaint, there are plenty of pharmacies around, and the hospital is only a few kilometers away. The sea is also just a few kilometers off, and the sunsets over it are breathtaking. I’ve stayed in both apartments several times. They’re carefully cleaned and disinfected, thoughtfully furnished, and have some really distinctive pieces. Both have terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, and a patio with a dining area and barbecue. The kitchens are well equipped with a fridge and freezer compartment, regular oven, microwave, and automatic coffee machine. If you plan to cook, you’ll need to bring your own supplies. The property is safely set in nature, and walking through the gate and along the drive feels peaceful and private. The owners are kind and helpful. There’s a saltwater pool, a bioceramic sauna with chromotherapy, ping pong, and a wine cellar stocked with good wines, where you can have snacks, lunch, or dinner. Wi-Fi and TV are available too. One apartment is beside the main house, and the other sits among the olive trees, which produce extra virgin olive oil that you can taste and buy. I’d highly recommend it if you want privacy, nature, and a relaxing stay.

We stayed for two weeks at the end of June 2024. The sea can only be seen from the pool. The bed linen and bath towels weren’t changed during our stay, so fortunately we’d brought our own. The cottage is in a lovely spot not far from Cecina, and it’s fairly quiet, though you can hear the road and neighbors farther down. At the moment, only the detached cottage is available. We chose it after reading other guests’ reviews. The hosts are friendly, but it’s frustrating that the same obvious problems mentioned by other visitors are still there. Cleaning needs work. There were cobwebs in lots of places, dust and dead bugs in the corners and under furniture, and bread left in the toaster from the previous guests. The microwave had the same issue. The shower... The TV is a small 21-inch screen, and the internet barely gets a signal. It’s a shame that the host knows about these problems and hasn’t dealt with them. It wouldn’t take much to make this a nice holiday home.
