Dinner was very good, and that truffle menu was generous, so bring an appetite. I was cycling through and needed somewhere to stay, and felt lucky to find this place. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and my room was perfect.

For 45€ a night, we got breakfast and 2 warm meals. The rooms are small but fine, each with its own bathroom and shower. The staff are nice and mostly speak a bit of English. There's also a bar serving wine, hard spirits, and coffee.

A hidden gem. The climb up that winding road to Montese is worth it...
