Tenuta Tropeano

The owners were very kind, and the room was clean and comfortable. They made a tasty breakfast, and the pool stays open all day. It’s a nice place to stay, but it’s a long way from the centre, so remember to rent a car. There’s no bus or Uber, only taxis, and a one way ride to Tropea centre costs €20.

Angelo and his family took such good care of us. I’ve never had hotel service this attentive: the details, the amazing cleaning, the helpful little touches, and one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had all made a real difference. The place is peaceful and quiet, but still just a short ride from the City centre. I’d absolutely stay again. I actually cried when we left 😂 My boyfriend and I came to Tropea to relax, enjoy the ocean, and see the town, and we had an amazing time. The building and rooms were stylish, very clean, comfortable, and had a gorgeous view.

Breakfast on the terrace was a real highlight, with homemade food, a menu, and table service that made it feel like a cafe. The gardens and pool are immaculate, and the quiet surroundings made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. There’s a lovely little balcony with ocean views, perfect for sunset, and the rooms felt fresh and very clean. The property is stunning, more like a hotel than a B&B, with friendly, welcoming staff. It’s about five minutes from town, and there’s a tuk-tuk option if you don’t have your own vehicle.

We had a relaxing stay at this beautiful hotel tucked away at the edge of town. Angelo, the host, was brilliant and incredibly attentive. The room was just right, with a sea view, and breakfast was delicious. Tenuta Tropeano is a lovely place to spend time reading beside the pool.
