We paid in advance but couldn't stay. After five minutes we left, because our kids were scared. The rooms smelled stale and there was a dog walking around them. The house is beside an industrial area, with factory buildings around it, and a high-voltage cable line passes nearby. The worst place we've stayed. Don't go there.

The location was okay, the pool was nice, and the room itself was comfortable, but I wouldn't return. It smelled of stale smoke and was less well equipped than most B&Bs we've stayed in around the area. There were no cups or glasses, bottled water, full-length mirror, or hairdryer. The water was odd too, with air in the pipes making all the taps sputter and gurgle, and once the toilet cistern wouldn't fill. Breakfast was hard to enjoy on the first morning because the hostess had her TV on deafeningly loud just inside. When we left, she didn't come to check us out, even though we knocked loudly on her door to say we were going.

The B&B sits in an industrial area, but once you pass through the gates it feels like a holiday place. It's really lovely, very friendly family, and works well for adults or kids, whether you're there for business or a holiday. I'd definitely pick it again next time.
