The views are lovely and the location works well for Florence, Pisa, and Siena, with San Gimignano just a few kilometers away. Mrs Sandra was a lovely, helpful host who made our stay a great experience. Castello Oliveto sells good wines, including Rosso Toscano and Vermentino. This is an old-style farmhouse, more homely than a 4-star resort, a little old but still in good shape. The apartments are fully equipped, and the kitchen even has a tool for making pasta. The only downside is the weak indoor wifi, though who cares about wifi in a place like this?
