Getting luggage into this apartment can be a chore. It’s on the third floor of an old building with no lift, and even after finding a spot to unload, you may not be close to the entrance. The street is one-way and allows only a one-hour stop with a time disc. There’s a free public car park about a five-minute walk away. The apartment itself is not bad, but you’ll need to carry everything up three flights of stairs. Best suited to people who are fit and don’t mind the climb.

The place feels very dated. The dining table on the terrace creaks, and the laundry sink has iron bars exposed. There was sugar in the kitchen for coffee, at least. It’s also a long climb to get in: the apartment is on the third floor, which feels like a fourth once you’ve tackled the stairs at the entrance.

The staff were really friendly, and the apartment was very nice.
