Agriturismo le Fontanelle

After five years, we came back and found the same lovely atmosphere that made our stay so enjoyable. Thanks again to Valente, Deborah and ilenia! A top agriturismo.

We stayed one night in May 2022, two adults with children. The farmhouse, described as an “agroturismo,” was welcoming. The email exchanges before we arrived were very satisfactory, and we received a pleasant welcome. I’d imagined more animals when I booked an agroturismo; there were only a few goats, which disappointed us. The property is also directly under the take-off and landing route for Brescia-Montichiari airport. Cargo planes flew in the evening and at night, and the noise was considerable. We had planned to stop there again on our return trip, but cancelled because of these issues. I’m surprised no other comment mentions the aircraft noise. Update 23.07.23: We booked under my husband’s name, which may be why they thought we hadn’t stayed there. Perhaps Maria couldn’t find my maiden name in their booking system? We really did stay one night, and have proof. We cancelled the second night on the way back because we didn’t want to stay there again. Google’s data protection rules mean I can’t add a photo or the email text.

The rooms are spacious and very stylish, and the property itself is beautiful. The owners were gentle, kind, and friendly. Their dogs kept our Gigi company, too.

We were welcomed warmly by the owners, whose personal touch gives this recently renovated place a lot of charm. It’s peaceful, and the rooms are clean, well maintained, and equipped for even a longer stay. Breakfast was complete and generously stocked, with homemade cakes to try.
