You can catch a gorgeous starry sky here, and with luck see foxes, roe deer, or wild boars in the big green garden. It’s a great area for hiking and cycling, with plenty of activities and villages to explore in the surrounding towns. In Gerfalco there’s a playground, a small grocery store, and an agriturismo I’d highly recommend. Waste disposal is available in front of the park. The property has a large garden and three apartments, one detached and two joined together. Each has outdoor chairs and loungers for eating outside. The apartments are spacious and come with sheets, towels, a dishwasher, a gas oven, a wood-burning fireplace, and the cookware and dishes you need. There’s also a shared washing machine in a laundry room, an outdoor drying rack, and a clothesline. You can park behind the house through a gated entrance. Outdoor taps provide drinking water, which can also be used to wash cars or bikes. Barbecues are available, though firewood costs extra. It’s surrounded by greenery, but access is along a narrow, 2-kilometer dirt road. Part of the road was in poor condition when we arrived. The place was fairly clean on arrival and seems well suited to couples or small groups of friends. The owner and Mrs. Roberta were helpful and attentive to guests’ needs. I recommend it to everyone.
