The food was delicious, and the welcome from the staff was so warm. This is a mountain refuge with breathtaking views of the Dolomites and an authentic, cozy atmosphere. A perfect stop after a hike, or for anyone wanting to experience alpine hospitality in a stunning natural setting.

The food was mediocre, portions were very small, and the wait was long. My stay was disappointing, and I can’t recommend this place. The biggest problem was cleanliness. There were visible stains on the walls and in the shower, and mold on the room walls and bathroom ceiling. The rooms and bathrooms weren’t properly cleaned, and the hygiene was far from acceptable. The furnishings were neglected, and the TV remote was sticky and dirty. The property has lost its former glory. It’s old and hasn’t been renovated for years, which shows in the interiors and the rather depressing atmosphere.

The octopus was possibly the best I’ve ever had, and the risotto was very good too. Service could have been more attentive, but they came when I called, so all good. Great restaurant!
