Villa Relais Manerba

The place itself is really nice, which makes how things went a real shame. We were there for 5 days, paying €2500 for the whole house, with two couples and two children. The house is getting old, and tiles are breaking out in the pool. On several days, the owner invited his family to use the pool, where people also smoked shisha. There was no air conditioning, no bars on the windows, and an extremely large number of mosquitoes. We could only pay in cash. We can only guess that the house isn't registered for rent and that he does it without tax. At the end, he asked us to clean the kitchen sufficiently, to the state we'd found it in. But we'd had no hot water for the last few days, and he said that meant we were done with the uncleaned kitchen. He was very unfriendly. We left the house tidy, but with that price, cleaning should be up to the landlord. Unfortunately, it wasn't appropriate for the price.
