Albergo Merùo

The hotel is wonderfully kept and very comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff who gave us lots of suggestions and tips for things to do. Breakfast was excellent, served in a cosy room filled with art, with homemade cakes and a brilliant range of food. We had a great time in Morano, a charming town in a unique spot in the amazing Pollino National Park. Hopefully we'll return and see more of the area!

We spent a week here and would recommend this lovely little hotel without hesitation. The room was airy, spotless, and comfortable, with views across the town and rooftops. Breakfast is simple Italian style, with several excellent choices. Biaggio's cappuccino and the homemade cakes deserve a special mention, they were top quality. You can tell the building has been restored with care, and the hotel is run the same way. The owners are super kind and friendly, and helped us with local walks, restaurants, and information about the area. Take their restaurant recommendations, they were great! Parking nearby is easy and free. It was calm, quiet, and relaxing, and we'd love to return.

The room was spotless, with wall art by a local artist and interior decor by the owners' son. We travelled with a baby, and the family who runs this historic B&B made sure we had enough space and everything we needed. There are lovely details throughout, from the reception and breakfast room to the patio overlooking the town and the handmade cushions. Breakfast was fresh, with homemade baked goods. It's perfectly placed for parking the car and taking a stroll around the city. We highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed!

The rooms are spotless, and the Italian breakfast is delicious. This family-run boutique hotel has been put together with so much care, right down to the details. The owners pay close attention to guests and treat you like close friends. We travel a lot, but I don't think we've ever felt as welcome and comfortable as we did at Albergo Merùo. I can't recommend it enough.
