Bed & Breakfast Muranum

The owner was very kind and greeted us with a homemade donut. Still, for all the effort to make it pleasant and comfortable, this is basically a shop-style apartment looking straight onto the street. The window is set into a recess in the French window, and the only source of light is the lack of windows. The double bed is made from two singles, while the third bed is a sofa bed combination. Because of the height difference, I had to switch around where I slept. Also, the kitchen is shared, which isn't mentioned in the property description.

We were only there for one night, but the rooms were comfortable and the owner was very kind. The location is handy for getting to any destination. The lady even brought us a homemade donut for breakfast the next morning. Thanks for everything, long live Calabria!

We chose this place for two nights in early January because it's so close to the Pollino National Park and surrounding area. The room was fairly cozy and clean enough, but being at street level meant we heard every noise from early in the morning. For winter temperatures there, the sheets and blanket weren't enough, and they didn't even cover the two single beds pushed together as a double. After I called a second time, the host kindly brought us another blanket, but that one still wasn't big enough for a double bed. If you stay here, I'd bring earplugs and a blanket that suits the season. Ciao!

A colleague recommended this place, and we felt right at home. The owner made us feel exceptionally welcome and treated us to an excellent donut in the morning. There are about three rooms, all with every comfort and furnished with real taste. Our room had the option of using the sauna, but we didn't because having a newborn left us very little time to relax. Highly recommended!
