The terrace was a lovely spot for eating outside, and the apartment worked well for our family of five: our three children shared a very large bedroom, while we had the other double room. The kitchen was practical and the bathroom spacious. We stayed on the first floor of a two-storey building in Morciano di Leuca, and found the location handy for getting around Salento. Torre Vado beach was about 10 minutes away and the public beach called Seychelles about 15 minutes, both sandy. We also drove to the cliffs at Marina di Andrano, Porto Badisco and S. Maria di Leuca, all within an hour, as were Gallipoli and Otranto. We spent two weeks here and had a good time. I recommend getting in touch with Caterina to book a Salento holiday. September should be even more relaxing for anyone able to travel then.

Caterina was really kind and helpful. The town has all the amenities, and the beach is just a five-minute drive away. The apartment was clean, roomy and nicely furnished, with a private garden that was great for summer evenings. There’s also an outdoor shower and barbecue. A place I’d happily recommend.

Gilberto and Caterina were so kind and available whenever we needed them. When my car had a problem, they called an auto electrician they knew and gave me several rides while I was without it. That kindness was extraordinary. I spent two weeks here with my daughters. The apartments were well maintained and had everything we needed, and the surroundings were quiet, with a wonderful sea and lots of lovely places to see nearby. I’d strongly recommend staying here. We felt right at home.

We had a week of real relaxation in a welcoming, comfortable, spotless house. The kitchen has everything you need, and the setting is lovely, about 10 minutes from a stunning sea. The owners were so kind and helpful with everything. Highly recommend.
