Janas Country Resort

We came by bike, so they arranged to cook dinner for us, and it was one of the best meals we had on Sardinia. The setting is beautiful and relaxing, and the service was amazing. We felt very welcome throughout our lovely stay. We’ll definitely return next time we’re on Sardinia!

The food deserves a mention first. Every dish felt like a masterpiece, and the drinks list was unusual too. I’m from Scotland, and Harris gin was right there on the shelf in the middle of Sardinia, when you don’t even find it in random Scottish pubs. The service was personal and incredible, the whole place is quiet and tranquil, and the attention to detail shows everywhere, from the unique bathroom items and furniture to the fresh citrus scented shampoo. The design throughout is tasteful. It may look like a small property, but it’s amazingly built and surrounded by a vast “Garden of Eden.” Our room and bathroom were spacious, the bed was comfy, and the pool was refreshing with high quality furniture. The thatched pool umbrellas brought back memories of our Caribbean holidays. I also used the gym and got in some great strength workouts with its very good equipment. Cleanliness was 10/10. After staying at six hotels over the past couple of weeks, I was so glad Janas, a family run boutique resort, was our last stop before leaving Italy. We’ll definitely come back!

The property feels like a dream, just right for unwinding with a favorite book. Everyone was extremely friendly, and Antonio was especially accommodating. The service was exceptional. We had the best meal of our island stay at their dinner, and I highly recommend ending it with a glass of Antonio’s homemade mirto. Delicious! Thanks so much for making us feel at home.
