We stayed in one of Du Parc's small bungalow-style pods. They're compact but well equipped, set up high in the nicest part of the campsite among lovely trees and grass. The owners were very friendly and did their best to meet our requests. From there, you can follow a pleasant woodland path beside the Dora river to either Morgex or Pres Saint Didier. The view of Mont Blanc is lovely too. The upper area with the pods, caravans and yourta felt peaceful, but elsewhere the tents, roulottes and chalets were packed close together, with little room to relax or play. The campsite could use renovation: the wifi didn't work, and some pod furniture felt a bit unstable. I'd recommend it, especially if you choose a pod or the yourta.

We found it peaceful during our one-night stop just before the season started. Nights got chilly, but the yurt was fully insulated, so we were fine. Ours was really big, with a cooker, fridge, bunk bed and double bed, plus a four-seat dining table and sauna outside. The bathrooms were very clean, and there was a launderette too. The place has different levels depending on how much 'luxury' you want, and you can get soap and other bits at the store on the premises.

The price was good, 16€ for two people with a car and tent, and the staff were helpful. Late check-in was possible too. The toilets and showers weren't comfortable, though, and there was traffic noise and a lot of insects.

We had van trouble and couldn't get to Chamonix that day, so we stopped here and got the van sorted out. It turned into a wonderful find, a beautiful campsite tucked into the woods, with tents, chalets and vans, great facilities, and a bar on site.
