The place is pretty and clean, and everything was new and tastefully furnished, but the stay felt cold and restrictive. We were three couples staying over New Year's Eve and just wanted to spend time together; the kitchen was the only shared space, but we weren’t allowed to cook or even use the plates for our own food. The fridge was secured with a huge lock, chairs were removed from the kitchen, and whenever we spent time there the owner was present. It felt like we were being watched, especially with cameras in the kitchen. I think the owner may have assumed we were throwing a New Year's Eve party. If you’re just a couple staying in your room and don’t mind the cameras, it may be fine, but groups have nowhere communal to relax. We stayed there last year and didn’t have a good experience, though we hadn’t spent much time there, so I wanted to share this. Maybe the owner could take the feedback on board, be more relaxed, and trust guests.
