The food was beautiful, made with ingredients from their own fields, and there was so much of it I nearly stopped at the antipasto. It was my first time in Calabria, and the warm welcome and comfortable rooms made the place feel like home.

The room was clean and a good size, with a lovely terrace, and the hillside setting meant cool nights. We stayed four nights and found the location handy for both Polino Park and the autostrada. This family-run agriturismo made us feel welcome. The food was amazing, with milk from their cows, eggs from their chickens, and homemade pasta. The portions were so generous we couldn't finish, and the hosts included wine and digestives too.

We had a lovely lunch at La Gemma del Parco. The local ingredients were delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We were greeted warmly and the service was impeccable. I'll definitely return.
