A relaxing late-summer weekend in nature, a welcome break from the chaos and a chance to recharge. The owner's cake was a lovely expression of Calabria's hospitality and flavors.

Getting to the little house in Pollino takes a bit of effort, but the quiet, the owners' helpfulness, and the spacious, warm interior make up for that. Their kindness showed in how well stocked they left the place, including a delicious donut and plenty of sweets for every taste. The bedroom and bathroom are both really roomy and clean, and the house has the feel of a cabin. It sits in an idyllic location and is the icing on the cake. We absolutely recommend it.

At night, the temperature was a comfortable 20-22 degrees, so the heat wasn't noticeable, and the crickets lulled us to sleep. Up here, there's no noise or visual pollution, and you can sleep incredibly well. The cottage is in Pollino National Park. It's a new structure, very well looked after by the owners, with new interiors that were spotless and tidy. The owners came each morning to clean and restock the breakfast fridge, and the lady made delicious cakes too.

A lovely, cool place to unwind, and the owner is incredibly kind. She brought us a delicious homemade cake. I highly recommend it if you're after some peace and quiet. Top!

A delightful little house, and the owner's homemade cake was excellent. It's a bit isolated, which is a shame, though that seclusion is also what makes it special.
