The food, including breakfast, was a highlight for us. Iolanda and her team make everything themselves, from bread and cookies to pasta and sauces, using the best organic, km0 ingredients they can source. The traditional Italian menu changes with the seasons and what's available, with a twist on the dishes. Fabrizio's wine collection is a special match for the food, with traditional and natural whites, orange wines, and reds from small producers in the Marche region. We stayed a few days and felt like part of the family. Fabrizio and Iolanda put care into everything and make you feel at home. The place has a rustic, authentic charm and a warm atmosphere, quite different from the polished feel of a five-star hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant. The five rooms are simple, comfortable, and stylish in an authentic farmer-chic way. There's also a small pool for a quick dip. The restaurant is open every day from July 15 to September 15 each year. Thanks to Fabrizio, Iolanda, and the rest of the Ponterosa staff. We'll be back.

We were eight people on the cooking course and got to eat what we'd made. The host was absolutely delightful, and we all had a wonderful day. I'd recommend going for a great day out. Paul, different coloured eyes 🥰

The atmosphere was amazing, and the place itself is lovely. We only went for dinner, though, and the food was more like 3 to 4 stars. The meat was a little dry, and the pasta could have used more salt.
