We’re Australians with Sicilian roots, and this remains one of our favourite places. Everything about the stay felt genuinely Sicilian. Filippo is charming, and his wife Rita brings so much passion and skill to the cooking. A peaceful, authentic experience for curious travellers.

The road up winds along slowly, but it brings you to a spot with a view that can’t be beat. It’s a rustic place, so don’t expect luxury, though it’s great for kids and the location is awesome. The welcome was exceptionally friendly. We were a little unlucky with some guests using phones and screens very loudly, but that wasn’t anything to do with the service or the location.

We found it easy to wind down at Filippo's and Rita's agriturismo, and the owners were especially accommodating with the kids. The food is always fresh from their fields, and Rita’s creativity in the kitchen is commendable. There’s archery and horse riding, goats to milk, a small playing field, and the best view of Mount Etna. A truly unforgettable stay.

The beautiful setting, incredible food and amazing hosts made us fall in love with this place. We left completely relaxed after a holiday that felt different from the others. We’d love to return one day.

All that greenery makes this such a relaxing place, and the staff are lovely. Fillipo, the owner, is very kind, and his wife Rita was lovely too. I’m gluten free, lactose free and egg free, and she managed to cook for me. I appreciated all the food, especially the chocolate pie, which was really good. I know you can do it! Thanks to both of you for making me feel at home. We were happy to stay here, until next time. 👌👌👌👌😊😊😊♥️♥️♥️♥️
