We had a minor incident in the house, which felt like an antiques museum, and the experience turned into one we'd rather forget. Even though we were willing to pay for the damage, we were pressed to leave in an aggressive, inelegant tone. The damage was ultimately paid for and the matter closed. Be careful around the objects, as they can be DANGEROUS: mirrors weren't properly secured to the "brick" wall.

The property is beautiful, and the lady was very helpful. The location and cleanliness were excellent, and the furnishings were well appointed. But some things listed on booking were missing: no microwave, coffee maker, towels, or toiletries. There was no shower stall or curtain, nowhere to hang a bathrobe, and no air conditioning. It's a shame, and I hope the lady will address these issues.

We found this B&B a lovely discovery, especially for its peaceful setting close to the Alcantara Gorges and the owners' kindness. The apartment was roomy, with a kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room and two sofas, plus a garden with a swimming pool.

The place is tucked into greenery, quiet, and only a short walk from the gorges. The pool was fabulous, and everything was very clean. The owners were kind and helpful. A couple of little things could be better, like adding a shower curtain, but I still highly recommend it.

Just 200 meters from the entrance to the Alcantara Gorges, this villa has a wonderfully peaceful setting. The owners are so sweet and really helpful, and the prices are great. Highly recommended!
