The quiet countryside was exactly what we wanted, with birdsong and the bells of grazing cows and goats all around. From the terrace and the pool you get lovely views over the mountains and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Our room was clean and roomy, with the basics like shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste provided. The hosts are a lovely couple who really make an effort to keep you comfortable. Shops are about 7-8 km away by car, but they can cook for you if you ask. We had a generous, delicious dinner with home wine, olives and other homemade food, all for a modest price. A great place to get away from city life and routine.

There are only three guest rooms, so it stays peaceful. The pool turned out to be much bigger than the photos suggested, and the rooms and service were excellent. It’s very rural, which I liked, but still just a short drive from the coast. They also serve local home-cooked food.
