Hotel Villa Dina

The owner at reception was so kind that it felt almost like being part of her family. This is one of those rare family hotels where you feel welcomed as a person, not just another guest, and get a sense of warmth and Italian family life. We spent the Easter holidays there and had a really lovely time. It’s a cozy, small family-run place in a nice area, not far from the city center or beach, but away from the crowds. The hotel was clean and pleasant. Thanks for the warm welcome.

The manager wouldn’t admit there was a problem, laughed when we said we wanted to call the police, and kept escalating things. He got so aggressive that he spat his leftover food at us, and his mother had to pull him by his shirt to stop him attacking us. I’m scared to sleep here, and we have to find another hotel for tonight. When we arrived, our room door was wide open, even though the bed had been made, so it looked as if the cleaning lady had left it that way. Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve had. Just rubbish and not worth it.

It’s an old building, but what the hotel says online is accurate: they provide what they offer and clean the rooms every day. The owner was very sweet and dedicated. We stayed a few days ago, and I’d recommend it if you’re on a tight budget.

A great option if you’re traveling with kids and keeping to a tight budget. It was a five-star experience for us, and I’ll come right back the next time I’m in Jesolo.
